Paris Jackson has gotten a temporary release from her boarding school in Utah so she can spend the Christmas break with her family, E! Online has learned. This is the first time the 15-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson has left Utah since her reported suicide attempt back in June.
According to the entertainment website, Paris was set to fly to Hawaii this past Saturday to join her brothers, Prince Michael and "Blanket," as well as her guardian, "TJ" Jackson, many of her cousins and various bodyguards for the Hawaiian vacation. Afterward, she'll spend some time with her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, at her home in Calabasas, California, before heading back to Utah.
A source tells E!, "The family doesn't want Paris to spend her entire winter break at home because they don't want her getting comfortable," adding, "The family thinks Paris will try to talk her way into staying home after showing the family she's gotten better."
Paris has kept in close contact with her family since entering the boarding school back in July, according to E!, and Skypes with Katherine, 83, and brother Prince, 16, every week.
