When it comes to pets, Justin Bieber doesn't have the best track record. Recall that he gave his hamster, Pac, to a fan, and it later died. He also abandoned his pet monkey, Mally, in Germany. But maybe the third time's a charm: the singer has just purchased a puppy.
According to Celebuzz, Justin was back home in Stratford, Ontario for Christmas when he and his entourage visited Ruffin's Pet Centre on Boxing Day, which is December 26. "Justin comes in all the time when he's home," an employee told Celebuzz. Justin then selected a female from a litter of three American Bulldog pups.
"He came in just before closing with his bodyguard and friends," the store's owner, Chris, told Celebuzz. "He walked around the store, saw [the dog], held it and liked it. She's got a little splash of brown on her eye." According to Chris, Justin has previously purchased at least one puppy from him, as well as fish.
"Whenever he comes in he buys something," Chris said. "He's an ethical person when it comes to animals."
Hopefully, the puppy won't go the way of either Pac or Mally.
