After recently announcing plans to play a March 22 concert at the brand-new Adelaide Oval venue in Adelaide, Australia, The Rolling Stones have now unveiled a full-slate of spring 2014 tour dates Down Under. The famed British rockers have scheduled a total of seven one-night-only shows, with the trek kicking off March 19 in Perth, Australia, and running through an April 5 performance in Auckland, New Zealand.
Tickets for The Stones' newly announced Australian and New Zealand shows will go on sale to the general public on December 16 at 9 a.m. local time. A number of "lucky dip" tickets will be made available, giving fans access to premium seats for just $99.
The new trek has been dubbed "14 on Fire" tour. As on the group's 2013 "50 and Counting" trek, the upcoming outing will feature ex-Stones guitarist Mick Taylor as a special guest.
"Can't wait to reconnect with all our friends in Australia & New Zealand," says Mick Jagger in a statement. "It's been a while since we've played to you all, so we are looking forward to being back on stage & playing your favorite songs."
Keith Richards adds, "We all had such a ball this year and so we wanted to keep it going! The energy between the band is better than ever and we're all looking forward to coming back Down Under."
