It's been rumored for weeks, but now Redfoo is confirming that he and Victoria Azarenka, the world's top-ranked female tennis player, are an item.
Asked if the two were officially dating, Redfoo told ESPN, "Yeah, I think so. It’s pretty out there. I hope so!" While the couple doesn't spend a lot of time defining their relationship, says Redfoo, he added, "If I saw her with another dude, I wouldn’t be happy about it. We just try to do our thing and have fun and laugh."
An avid tennis fan and previous teen competitive player, Redfoo can often be found in the stands shouting support for Victoria. When she won the Australian Open, Redfoo explains he was, "[watching] to see what she [did] and then I just [did] it louder. If she’s like, 'Come on!' after a point, I’m like, 'COME ON!' I try to match what she’s doing and just amplify that."
Recently, he surprised Victoria with the gift of music. He tells ESPN, "I went out and bought [her] a piano. She didn’t even know. I said, 'Hey, I’ve got a surprise for you,' and she said, 'What is this?' I said, 'It’s a piano.'" Now, Victoria plays regularly, and Redfoo brags to ESPN, "I taught her 'Heart and Soul.' That was a great moment, we played that together."
Though he loves tennis, is designing a line of tennis clothing and one day might do a combined concert and tennis match, Redfoo says "music and entertaining" are still his main focus. "I’m making a lot of songs that are tennis-inspired," the LMFAO frontman tells ESPN. One source of inspiration? The noises that Victoria makes on the court when she returns the ball "I have a song that actually features [Victoria's] grunt. It’s in the perfect key," Redfoo says.
