Heart's Wilson Sisters to Celebrate Rock Hall Induction with Hometown Acoustic Gig

Legacy RecordingsHeart's long-awaited induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will take place on April 18, and to celebrate the honor, the band's Ann and Nancy Wilson have scheduled a special concert event in their hometown of Seattle.  The rocking sisters will play an acoustic show on April 9 at the Emerald City's Benaroya Hall.

The intimate show also will include an interview will take place at the venue's S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium, which has a 2,400-seat capacity.  Prior to the concert, Ann and Nancy will discuss their lives and their group's illustrious career with acclaimed rock biographer Charles R. Cross, who co-wrote their 2012 memoir, Kicking and Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul, and Rock & Roll.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Tuesday at the Benaroya Hall box office and online at BenaroyaHall.org.  The concert comes at the tail end of a series of late winter and early-spring performances in Canada and the U.S.  Visit Heart-Music.com to see the band's full tour schedule.
