Carlos Santana, U2's Bono and Stevie Wonder are among the many celebrities who will be on hand for a charity event celebrating the 80th birthdays of acclaimed producer Quincy Jones and Oscar-winning actor Michael Caine. The Keep Memory Alive organization's 17th annual Power of Love gala is scheduled for April 13 at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and will feature a variety of performances and presentations honoring the two stars, who were born just minutes apart on March 14, 1933.
Other luminaries expected to take part in or attend the bash include Barbra Streisand, Chaka Khan, Herbie Hancock, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Scarlett Johansson, Whoopi Goldberg and the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am. Funds raised by the Power of Love gala benefit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, which provides support for the treatment and research into neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's, Huntington's and Parkinson's disease.
The event also will include a gourmet dinner and a charity auction.
