The producers of the Academy Awards want to ensure high ratings during their telecast Sunday, and announced Wednesday that a who's who list of Oscar winners and nominees will honor movie musicals of the last decade.
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Russell Crowe along with this year's nominees Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman will take the stage to honor movie musicals including Dreamgirls, Chicago and Les Misérables.
Jennifer tweeted that she's "so excited to perform" during this year's star-studded Oscars celebration.
“We are pleased to have been able to amass so much talent to create the celebration of musicals of the last decade that we envisioned,” said producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. “We are thrilled that so many talented actors have agreed to bring our vision to life.”
The 85th Annual Academy Awards, which will be hosted by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, airs live on ABC Sunday, February 24.
