Usually, when Michelle Williams talks about her "sisters," she's referring to her Destiny's Child pals Beyonce and Kelly Rowland, who she performed with at this year's Super Bowl. But fans will get to know Michelle's real-life sisters when Entertainment One presents the singer's upcoming reality show, My Sister's Keeper.
"I am very thrilled about this opportunity...," Michelle says in a statement about the show, which is expected to premiere around the same time that eOne delivers her latest gospel release later this year.
"Working together on my new gospel album and television series, I am excited to share with everyone a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration and journey of recording for the album, performing, fun family times and other unforgettable experiences out together with my dear sisters," Michelle says.
The singer, who has been starring in a traveling production of the musical Fela!, will get back to her gospel roots on her upcoming album. Michelle went for a more dance-influenced sound with her previous release, 2008's Unexpected.
