Dierks Bentley Hoping to End His Grammy Drought at Sunday Night's Ceremony

Jim WrightDierks Bentley has attended the Grammy Awards, and he's even set to perform with Miranda Lambert on Sunday night's show. Though it seems like Dierks is a Grammy darling, he's never actually taken home hardware at the all-genre show.

Dierks says of his Grammy drought, "Let's look at the stats.  I've been nominated for 12.  OK, so I'm pretty used to the clapping for somebody else."

Dierks could win in the Best Country Solo Performance category for "Home," but he's got a backup plan if that doesn't pan out.  Dierks contributed a song to The Grascals' album Life Finds a Way, which is up for Best Bluegrass Album, and he may be riding their coattails on to the Grammy stage.

"If they win, I am running up there so I can say I did it," Dierks says, "'cause it's a tough thing to win one I've found out."

Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw and Zac Brown are also slated to perform on the 55th Annual Grammy Awards Sunday night on CBS.  Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Keith Urban will serve as presenters.
