Randy Houser's Son West Finally Recognizes His Daddy Singing on the Radio

Stoney Creek RecordsRandy Houser's son West just celebrated his first birthday Monday, and the tyke is turning out to be a big country music fan. West's favorite song on the radio lately has been "Drunk on You" by Luke Bryan, and Randy was trying to sway West to sing his daddy's latest #1 hit "How Country Feels" instead.

"My song would come on all the time, and he never would respond," Randy says. "You know, 'Goo goo ga ga.'"

That all changed the other day though.  "How Country Feels" came on the radio while Randy and his son were riding around in the truck, and West suddenly yelled out "Dada!"

Randy says, "That was the coolest thing about 'How Country Feels' so far to me.  You know, it finally clicked with him."

Randy has released "Runnin' Outta Moonlight" as the follow up to "How Country Feels," which just happens to be the title of Randy's just-released studio album.  It's now available in stores and online.
