Plans to take R. Kelly's Single Ladies' tour to South Africa have undergone a last-minute change. Kelly was supposed to take the stage for a concert in Johannesburg on Thursday, but the show has been postponed, along with another set that was slated to happen Saturday in Durban.
The concerts are now rescheduled for August 8 and August 10, according to South Africa's Times Live website. Organizers say logistics sparked the move, the newspaper reports.
There's no word on whether R. Kelly will go forward with previously planned visits to the Nelson Mandela Children's Foundation in Johannesburg, and an orphanage in Alexandra, which is located north of Johannesburg. The singer was also scheduled to meet with the reigning King of the Zulu nation, King Goodwill Zwelithini.
The R could probably use a vacation. His south suburban Chicago mansion, once valued at $5.16 million, recently sold for just $950,000 in a foreclosure auction.
