ZZ Top recently finished up a tour of Australia, but the Texas blues-rock trio soon will be hitting the road again in the U.S. a little later in the spring. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers' stateside itinerary is mapped out from a May 2 concert in Newkirk, Oklahoma, through a May 25 show in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Following those shows, ZZ Top will head to Europe for a series of gigs in June and July. The band does have two more U.S. concerts that will take place when they return home from the continent -- an August 1 performance at the OC Fair in Costa Mesa, California, and an August 4 appearance at the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota.
Meanwhile, ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons also has a couple of interesting events he'll be playing without his band mates. The singer/guitarist will be getting together with his old 1960s group The Moving Sidewalks for a pair of reunion shows -- on March 30 in New York City and on April 28 in Austin, Texas.
