Rick Springfield has joined the lineup of a star-studded benefit concert that's scheduled to take place Wednesday at the famous Whisky a Go Go club in Los Angeles. The Rock Against MS show will provide financial support to ailing music publicist Nancy Sayle, who not only has been battling multiple sclerosis but also has recently been diagnosed with a pituitary gland tumor.
The lineup for the show also includes such well known rockers as founding Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler, Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, Foreigner bassist Jeff Pilson, longtime Ramones drummer Marky Ramone, ex-Deep Purple bassist/singer Glenn Hughes, Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson, Chickenfoot touring drummer Kenny Aronoff and many more. In addition, a surprise guest star also will be taking part in the concert.
According to the Whisky a Go Go's official website, a guitar signed by all the performers will be raffled off at the benefit. Tickets are priced from $35 to $150 and are available for purchase now at TicketFly.com. If you buy tickets on the day of the show, prices are a bit higher.
