Yes Set to Play More Triple-Album Concerts in North America This Summer

Photo: Rob ShanahanYes has been treating fans on their current North American tour to performances of three of their classic 1970s albums -- 1971's The Yes Album, 1972's Close to the Edge and 1977's Going for the One -- in at each show.  The concerts are going over so well that the band has decided to add a summer leg to the trek.  The new series of dates gets under way July 6 in Paso Robles, California, and runs through an August 14 gig in Rosemont, Illinois.

Yes' current tour leg is scheduled to wind down on April 12 in Detroit.  The veteran U.K. group will follow up this outing with a South American trek that's mapped out from a May 19 stop in Brasilia, Brazil, through a May 30 performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In other news, over the weekend the band wrapped up its first fan cruise, Cruise to the Edge.  Joining Yes on the five-day Caribbean voyage were a variety of other music acts, including ex-Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett, The Carl Palmer Band, U.K., Tangerine Dream, Saga and Zebra.
