Black Sabbath to Debut New Song on Episode of CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" in May

Sonja Flemming/CBSBlack Sabbath fans likely will want to tune in to the May 15 episode of the CBS drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, as the legendary heavy-metal band will make a rare TV appearance on the show.  The British rockers will give a world premiere performance of a brand-new song called "End of the Beginning" on the program.

The episode, titled "Skin in the Game," will see the CSI team investigating a series of murders that seem to be based on the sins in 14th century Italian poet Dante's Inferno.  Sabbath's Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will portray themselves in a scene where the characters D.B. Russell and Conrad Ecklie, played by Ted Danson and Marc Vann, respectively, attend a concert by the band.

"End of the Beginning" is among the tracks that will appear on Black Sabbath's upcoming album, 13.  The record, scheduled to be released on June 11, will be the first Sabbath studio effort to feature founding frontman Osbourne since 1978's Never Say Die.
