Scott Weiland Adds Handful of Purple at the Core Tour Dates

ScottWeiland.comScott Weiland is extending his Purple at the Core tour.  The ex-Stone Temple Pilots singer has just added a leg of West Coast dates with his new band, The Wildabouts, where they'll perform tracks from the STP's first two albums: 1992's Core and 1994's Purple

That outing kicks off on May 29 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California, and will make stops in Las Vegas, San Diego and San Francisco, among other cities.

In addition to touring with The Wildabouts, Weiland has said that he is "over halfway finished" making a new solo album with them.
