Kenny Chesney Looks Forward to Helping Save the Ocean and Rocking Out at Tortuga Music Festival Chesney's upcoming album, Life on a Rock, centers on his love of island life and the ocean, so it's fitting he's headlining Rock the Ocean's Tortuga Musical Festival this Saturday night on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. The event also features Eric Church, Eli Young Band and Jake Owen with proceeds going to Rock the Ocean Foundation's support of scientific research, education and public awareness of the issues affecting the world's oceans.

Says Kenny, "When I think of what the ocean means to me as a person, but also to the world in general… It is a powerful force to be celebrated and protected.  So, not only do I get to have an ultimate place to play, but we’re calling some attention to the reality of taking care of the world around us.”
