It's safe to say that in her 24 years, Adele has experienced far more than the average person. Even so, the singer has apparently turned down a chance to write her autobiography because feels she just hasn't lived enough.
The British tabloid The Mirror reports that top publishing house Harper Collins put an offer on the table for the singer to pen her memoirs, but she turned it down because she feels she's "far too young" to do so.
A source tells the paper, "Adele’s never been a really showy person, so it was always going to take a lot to get her to write her life story anyway. But even though she received a lucrative offer, her primary concern was that she doesn’t want to write a book about just 24 years. She feels she’d rather wait until she has more life experience to write about. She’d never say never, but she did say ‘not now’.”
Adele, of course, has been the subject of several books, but there is no "authorized" version of her life in publication. By comparison, 19-year-old Justin Bieber has written two installments of his life story so far.
