Pistol Annies Line Up Major TV Spot in Support of Forthcoming "Annie Up"

RCA NashvillePistol Annies' sophomore album, Annie Up, lands in stores May 7, and they'll perform the project's lead single, "Hush Hush," on NBC's Today that morning.

Annies member Miranda Lambert is clearly looking forward to the album's release.  "We are so excited to release the new album. It's been like waiting for Christmas morning to come," she says.  Miranda's band mate Ashley Monroe adds, "I have great faith in this record and I really think that people are going to understand it. We’re all super proud of it and ready for it to be out!”

Annie Up includes 12 tracks all written by Miranda, Ashley and third member Angaleena Presley.  The ladies say they set out to just tell the truth about their lives with the new music.  Says Angaleena, "We’re not doing anything new. Loretta Lynn did it way before we did."

Miranda adds, "We’re just doing it for our generation, bringing it back home."
