Will.i.am is about to score another award for his mantel. The producer, philanthropist and technology proponent will receive an honorary CLIO Award on May 15 at New York's American Museum of Natural History. The CLIO advertising awards honor innovators of media, advertising, design and communications.
Will's award recognizes him for his work to inspire others to think differently and change the world. The Black Eyed Peas frontman isn't limiting his vision to this world, though. It was just last August that Will became the first artist to partner with NASA's Curiosity Mars Space Lab to have his music -- the song "Reach for the Stars (Mars Edition)" -- play on the red planet.
