Fantasia Wants Missy Elliott to Direct Her Next Video that her new album Side Effects of You is in stores, Fantasia is gearing up to promote her second single, "Without Me," featuring Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott.  Pretty soon, Fantasia will be shooting a music video for the track, and she tells ABC News Radio that she's already picked a director -- none other than, Missy.

"You know, Missy is very talented.  She is music," Fantasia says. "She's a good, good friend of mine. So we're all going to come together.  She's going to do the video.  And I think it's going to be something very different for me and Kelly, let's say."

Different, indeed.  Missy got major attention when she rocked what looked like an oversized garbage bag suit for her 1997, Hype Williams-directed music video for "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)."  Fantasia remembers it, but she won't try to recreate that classic look.  "I don't know if I can pull that off," she says laughing. "You know, she did that, nobody can come back and pull that off."

The "Without Me" video will certainly be something special though. Fantasia says Missy "can take you to a whole 'nother level," but she has no reason to be nervous, because Missy has already given her a little reassurance.  "She's like, 'Don't get scared.  I'm not going to have your head coming off and all these things flying around,'" says Fantasia.

As for what else Fantasia has brewing, she says, "I always say what God has for me is for me.  Everything that I've done, I never thought I would do. I never thought I'd do Broadway.  I never thought I would do a Lifetime movie that's still running to this day.  So I'm up for the challenge."

This June, Fantasia will be performing select tour dates with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.  They'll take the stage in Denver, Colorado; Anaheim, California; Newark, New Jersey; and Albany, New York.
