Well, we know what One Direction fans will be asking for this Christmas: the group’s next album. 1D member Louis Tomlinson hints that their follow-up to last year’s Take Me Home could drop in time for the holidays.
Louis is quoted by the U.K.’s The Daily Star as saying that the group began recording the new disc about a month ago. He says, “We don’t want to rush it but it will be out for Christmas.”
Louis says they have been writing songs while on tour and recording in their hotel rooms.
A source adds to The Daily Star, “There was talk about the boys taking some time off before the next album but it was decided to release the record while they are so popular.”
Meanwhile, One Direction's 3D movie, This Is Us, hits theaters in late August.
