Fleetwood Mac Kicks Off North American Tour Tonight

Warner Bros. RecordsFleetwood Mac's long-awaited North American tour gets under way tonight in Columbus, Ohio.  The trek, which will make 48 stops around the U.S. and Canada, is mapped out through a July 6 show in Sacramento, California.

Fans can expect to hear a variety of songs from throughout the band's career, including possibly a few new songs Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie recorded during the past year.

Over the last couple of years, Nicks and Buckingham busied themselves with their own respective solo projects, 2011's In Your Dreams and Seeds We Sow, but Stevie says she and Lindsey are ready to put their full focus on Fleetwood Mac.

"I think that this is gonna be a really good tour," she tells ABC News Radio.  "I think that Lindsey and I are really kind of happy about it, and we were both ready to let go of what we were doing."

She adds, "I took my two years for In Your Dreams and that's what I wanted.  And I said, at the end of 2012 I would walk away from that and I would walk right into Fleetwood Mac.  And same with Lindsey…So we're ready."

Following the stateside tour, Fleetwood Mac will take a break and then head to Europe for a fall outing that starts September 20 in Dublin, Ireland.
