John Fogerty to Appear at Two ACM Awards-Related Events in the Coming Days

Vanguard RecordsJohn Fogerty will make two special appearances in the next few days in conjunction with the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which take place this Sunday night in at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.  The ex-Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman has been added to the star-studded list of presenters for the ceremony, which CBS will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Fogerty also has joined the bill for the ACM Presents: Tim McGraw's Superstar Summer Night, which will be taped Monday night in Las Vegas.  Other performers who will hit the stage alongside McGraw include Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Ne-Yo and Pitbull.  The show will air as a CBS special on Sunday, May 19, at 9 p.m. ET.

Urban is one of the many guest stars who duet with Fogerty on his upcoming album, Wrote a Song for Everyone, which will be released on May 28.  Fogerty has been posting a series of documentary videos focusing on the making of the new record on his official YouTube channel.  One of the clips features him and Urban discussing their recording of "Almost Saturday Night."
