The recently reunited Black Crowes have added another leg of tour dates to their calendar, and this time, they're taking some new friends along with them.
The Crowes have just revealed that they'll be kicking off a U.S. co-headlining tour this summer with Tedeschi Trucks Band -- the group led by Allman Brothers Band slide guitar whiz Derek Trucks and his wife, Susan Tedeschi. The trek gets under way on July 19 in Nashville and is mapped out through an August 15 concert in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The outing also will makes stops in Charlotte, Boston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Chicago, among other cities. The London Souls will support the bands on all the newly announced dates.
Tickets for most of the upcoming concerts will go on sale on Friday, April 12, at 10 a.m. local venue time.
The Black Crowes currently are in the midst of a spring tour that's scheduled to wind down with an appearance the Wakarusa Festival in Ozark, Arkansas, which takes place May 30-June 2. The band's itinerary also includes a series of European shows in late June and early July.
