Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top and The Doobie Brothers are among a bevy of music acts that will take part in the finale of Harley-Davidson's 110th Anniversary Celebration this summer in Milwaukee. The concert extravaganza will kick off on August 29 and run through September 1, and will feature a series of performances at Henry Maier Festival Park, where the city's annual Summerfest also is held.
The August 29 lineup includes Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Doobies, Blue Oyster Cult, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Elvin Bishop, while ZZ Top is scheduled to perform on the following day. Admission to the Skynyrd show, however, will be restricted to members of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), and will be part of a special members-only 30th anniversary party for the group that will run from noon to 5 p.m. that day.
In addition, Kid Rock will headline one of three special shows that will be held at Milwaukee's Marcus Amphitheater in conjunction with Harley's 110th Anniversary Celebration. Rock's concert is scheduled for August 31, while details for the other two events have not been revealed.
