Just like regular folks, pop superstars want to get rid of items that remind them of their exes -- even if that item is a multi-million-dollar mansion.
Katy Perry is selling the home she and former hubby Russell Brand purchased in 2011, reports the Los Angeles Times. The Hollywood Hills mansion, which includes seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and more than 8,800 square feet of living space, originally cost the couple $6.5 million, but now she's listing it for $6.925 million. Oddly, the couple never actually lived in the home.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the house sits on three acres overlooking the Sunset Strip, and features extensively landscaped grounds, an outdoor patio, a lagoon-style swimming pool, two guest houses and a carriage house with auto storage.
The most interesting thing about this story, though, is the tidbit that comes at the end: according to the Times, Katy will be releasing a new album this summer. However, Katy's publicist tells ABC News Radio that, while the singer is in the studio, there's no release date yet for her next album.
