Little Big Town and Trisha Yearwood Snag Daytime Emmy Awards Nominations

Sunshine SachsLittle Big Town and Trisha Yearwood are regulars at music awards shows, but now they each have a shot at taking home a Daytime Emmy Award. 

Little Big Town is up for Outstanding Original Song for "Good Afternoon," the theme song from ABC's Good Afternoon America. The group's Jimi Westbrook says, "What an unexpected honor to be nominated for an Emmy. This is something we never could have dreamed up as a band and we are beyond thrilled to say the least!"

Trisha Yearwood also got a nod in the Outstanding Culinary Program for Trisha's Southern Kitchen on the Food Network. The third season of Trisha's Southern Kitchen premieres Saturday, May 25.

The 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out June 16 in Beverly Hills.
