The Henningsens Are Stoked to Hit the Road with "Mr. Paisley" This Summer

Sony Music NashvilleThe Henningsens are celebrating the success of their debut single, "American Beautiful," with a spot on Brad Paisley's Beat This Summer tour.  The trek kicked off Thursday and will last for several weeks, and that's big news for the family group's lead singer, Clara Henningsen.

She says, "Pretty stinkin' cool to be going out on the road with Mr. Paisley this summer.  We're really, really excited about it."

Clara's brother and band mate Aaron Henningsen notes that Brad must feel old since Clara always calls him "Mr. Paisley," but she insists it's just a sign of respect.

"It just kind of comes out naturally and sounds good," Clara says.  "I mean, Mr. Paisley.  It makes him sound like he's the president or something."

She adds, "He is kind of the president of country music in a way."

Aaron thinks Brad should take it all the way to Washington, D.C. saying, "He should run for president.  I'd vote for him."

Check out for all the latest information on the group.
