Hunter Hayes: Being a Country Star "Just Keeps Getting Better"

Warner Music NashvilleBeing a country star is every bit as amazing as you might imagine according to Hunter Hayes.  In an interview with the Sioux City Journal, Hunter admits being a Grammy-nominated artist is actually better than the dreams of stardom he held as a kid.

He says, "You can theorize a million different ways and build all kinds of expectations but it's more fun than I ever thought it could be.  And it just keeps getting better."

While he's having a blast, Hunter is just 21-years-old, and he's got a lot left to learn and experience both professionally and personally.

"You never lose your insecurity," Hunter says. "But there has been a change.  I'm waking up every morning and I'm getting to live my dream."

Hunter's latest single, "I Want Crazy," is featured on the expanded re-release of his debut album, called Hunter Hayes (Encore), due out June 18.
