Rascal Flatts Tries a Different Approach to Live and Loud Tour

Big Machine Records

Rascal Flatts is enlisting some help to make sure their Live and Loud 2013 Tour lives up to its name.

“We’re working with a show producer this time,” says Jay DeMarcus, “which is pretty fun and pretty exciting to have somebody come in and sort of put a different set of eyes and ears on what we’re doing. We’ve always put our shows together and put on our set list together and everything, so we’re really excited to bring somebody in from the outside this time."

Designer and show producer Raj Kapoor is no stranger to country music, having created both Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away tour and Shania Twain’s recent Vegas shows. He’s also worked with Little Big Town as well.

The Band Perry and Cassadee Pope will open for Rascal Flatts. The tour kicks off May 31 in Wantagh, New York.
