Paul McCartney Covers Album by Americana Artists Due in June

Reviver RecordsA new album featuring folk and Americana artists covering songs by Paul McCartney and The Beatles is due in June.

Let Us In: Americana follows on the heels of the 2011 country covers collection Let Us In: Nashville and, like its predecessor, will raise money for The Women and Cancer Fund, which supports cancer research with special emphasis on breast cancer.

Among the artists appearing on Let Us In: Americana are Steve Earle and Allison Moorer who have recorded a version of  “I Will,” and guitarist, producer and sometime Robert Plant sideman Buddy Miller who performs "Yellow Submarine."

The Let Us In collections are part of an initiative of the Fund that pays tribute to McCartney's late wife Linda who died of breast cancer in 1998.

Let Us In: Americana will be released June 25.
