In addition, Annette Bening and Boardwalk Empire's Bobby Cannavale also are in talks to take on roles in the flick, as the Pacino character's love interest and son, respectively.  Imagine will mark the directorial debut for screenwriter Dan Fogelman, whose credits include Cars, Cars 2 and Crazy, Stupid, Love.
