It's down to the final three contestants on American Idol, and on Wednesday night, Kree, Candice and Angie will face off, with each singing three songs: one chosen by the judges, one chosen by the producers and one chosen by Jimmy Iovine. Amber Holcomb, who was voted off last week, will be watching, and she thinks each girl has something special that could help her take home the Idol crown.
"Candice can win because she has a voice like no other," Amber tells ABC News Radio. "Her voice is unmatched and she's drop dead gorgeous. Angie can win because she writes [songs] and oh my gosh, that's such a special skill to have."
"[She] can win because she's, like, loveable, and she's so genuine and humble," says Amber. "Like, if you meet her, you will fall in love with her."
Amber, who won raves for the judges for her superstar looks in addition to her voice, she says she hopes that acting and modeling will be in her future, as well as singing. "I think music will definitely always be first," she laughs. "But, y'know, everything else will be a really close, tight second!"
So what's Amber's dream role? Unsurprisingly for someone who sang Whitney Houston classics during her time on the show, Amber says portraying the late singer in a biopic would be a dream come true.
"I would love to play Whitney Houston," she tells ABC News Radio. "Or a comedy or something dramatic....well, not a scary movie, because I laugh all the time!"
American Idol airs on Fox Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET. Mariah Carey's new video for her single "#Beautiful" will premiere during the evening.
