Doors Drummer John Densmore to Visit PBS' "Tavis Smiley" Show Tonight Doors' John Densmore will chat with Tavis Smiley on tonight's edition of the talk-show host's PBS program.  The drummer is expected to discuss his recently published memoir, The Doors: Unhinged, which focuses on the legal battles he fought with his fellow band mates Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger over the usage of the group's name and music.

If you can't watch the show this evening, you'll be able to check it out online within 24 hours after it airs on PBS.  Check your local listings for air times.

Meanwhile, in case you missed it, Densmore paid a visit the NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last week.  During his appearance, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer talked about his new book and recalled the first time he met Jim Morrison

Densmore also complimented Fallon on his impression of the late singer, which Jimmy did during a sketch that featured a fake version of The Doors performing a rocked-up rendition of the theme to the children's program Reading Rainbow.  After his interview, Densmore and Fallon joined Late Night house band The Roots for a brief version of The Doors classic "Roadhouse Blues."  You can watch Densmore's Late Night appearance online at
