On April 18, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame saluted its latest class of honorees at its 2013 induction ceremony, held at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles. Among the lauded acts welcomed into the hallowed institution was Heart, who finally joined the Rock Hall after more than 10 years of eligibility. A three-hour HBO special featuring highlights from the big event is set to premiere Sunday, May 18, at 9 p.m. ET.
In conjunction with the debut screening of the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson will take part in a live Q&A event as part of the HBO Connect series. Fans can visit Connect.HBO.com now and submit questions to the rocking sisters. Find out how they felt about being inducted by Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, jamming out with Pearl Jam's Mike McCready and Alice in Chains' Jerry Cantrell and more.
The Q&A will air at an as-yet-unannounced time on May 18.
In other Heart news, the band recently added a pair of performances to its U.S. summer tour schedule -- an August 27 show at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, California, and an August 31 appearance at the Bumbershoot Festival in their hometown of Seattle.
