John Mayer, Ne-Yo, Demi Lovato to Headline Philly "4th of July" Jam

Paul Morigi/WireImageJohn Mayer, Ne-Yo and Demi Lovato are among the artists who'll be celebrating Independence Day this year in the city where our nation really got started: Philadelphia.

All three acts are among the headliners for the third annual Philly 4th of July Jam, a three-hour concert event which will be simulcast on VH1 and Palladia on July 4 from 8 to 11 p.m., and live-streamed on VH1.com.

Philadelphia artists The Roots will serve as the house band, and the bill also includes Grace Potter and R&B stars Jill Scott and J. Cole.  More than half a million people are expected to pack Philly's Benjamin Franklin Parkway to enjoy the free concert, which will end with a fireworks display over Philadelphia's iconic Museum of Art.
