Alicia Keys has just teamed up with Prizeo, a new digital platform that helps celebrities raise money for charities. The singer has launched a special online fundraising campaign for her charity, Keep a Child Alive, and fans who pitch in can win a trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for a V.I.P. experience with Alicia.
"I'm very passionate about the work we do at Keep a Child Alive," Alicia says in a statement about the organization, which she co-founded. Each year, the group provides life-saving programs, care and support to children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and India.
"Partnering with Prizeo really allows us to share the incredible mission of KCA with a wider audience, and also gives me a whole new way to connect with my fans at the same time," Alicia says. "My hope is that we inspire people all over the world to come together and bring about change in a huge way."
With a micro-donation for as little as $3, Alicia supporters do their part to help a good cause. And not only that, but they'll be in the drawing for a grand prize that gives the winner and a guest a chance to meet Alicia in Rio and see her perform live at the city's Rock in Rio festival in September.
Alicia's Prizeo campaign will run through July 15.
