With Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane recovering nicely from his recent emergency surgery to a remove a blood clot from his brain, the band is ready to head back out on the road. They've just unveiled a new batch of tour dates to promote their Grammy-winning album, Babel.
Dubbed The Full English North American Tour, the upcoming trek kicks off on August 26 at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario, and will make stops in Milwaukee, St. Paul and Atlanta, among other cities. The Vaccines and Bear’s Den will support the band on select dates.
Mumford & Sons have also added another stop on their popular Gentlemen of the Road Stopover series, which features the band performing in a number of unique concert sites. That outing will take place on August 28 at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York.
In addition, the band has rescheduled the tour dates they were forced to postpone due to Dwane’s surgery. Those concerts will take place September 16-20 in New Orleans, LA; Woodlands, TX; Dallas, TX; and Bonner Springs, KS.
