Britney Has Another Hit with "Ooh La La" Spears' new single is off to a smurfin' great start.  "Ooh La La," the song she recorded for the upcoming movie The Smurfs 2, has debuted at #22 on Billboard's Pop Songs chart, which measures radio airplay.   In the 20-year history of the chart, only one of her songs has debuted higher: "Hold It Against Me."

Billboard notes that "Ooh La La" is also Britney's 31st song to make the Pop Songs chart: she now has more than Mariah Carey, who's racked up 30.  Only Rihanna has had more, with 36, despite the fact that she hasn't been around nearly as long as either Britney or Mariah.

The Smurfs 2 soundtrack will be out July 23; the movie itself lands in theaters July 31.  Besides Britney, other artists on the soundtrack include Nelly Furtado, Owl City and some up-and-coming acts.  Sadly, Katy Perry, who does the voice of Smurfette in the film, is not on the soundtrack.
