Back in 2011, when she was still married to Russell Brand -- you know, the dude who asked her for a divorce by text message -- Katy Perry purchased a home in Los Angeles that was supposed to have been their love nest. The couple never actually lived there, though, and Katy's been trying to unload it since April. Now, she's dropped the price on the property, according to Forbes.
The house, which originally cost Katy $6.5 million, was listed in April for $6,925,000, but Forbes reports Katy's slashed the price by $430,000, which means it can be yours for the bargain-basement price of $6,495,000. In other words, five grand less than it originally cost her.
The seven-bedroom home, which is just under 9,000 square feet, is known as "Park Hill." It was built in 1921 and features seven full and four partial baths, plus a two-story grand entrance, a backyard with a lagoon-style pool and waterfall, and two guest houses.
It's no wonder Katy is anxious to unload this mansion: she recently spent over 11 million bucks on two additional properties in the Hollywood Hills.
