The Rolling Stones' Mick Taylor to Appear on New Album by Blues Artist Stephen Dale Petit

Shore Fire MediaFormer Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor is one of the guest stars who appear on Cracking the Code, the upcoming album by London-based American blues singer Stephen Dale Petit.  According to NME, Taylor contributes his musical talents to a song called "Holla," which also features Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney.

Cracking the Code also will include appearances by Dr. John and late Howlin' Wolf guitarist Hubert Sumlin.

"It's been mind blowing to get to work with the best musicians and producers in the world, the crème de la crème," Petit says of the new album.  "I can't wait for people to hear it."

While a U.S. release date for Cracking the Code has yet to be announced, the record will arrive at U.K. stores on September 9.
