Kenny Rogers has been touring the world for decades now, so there aren't many firsts left for him at this point in his career. That's why he's so excited about making his debut at the U.K.'s celebrated Glastonbury Festival this Sunday. Kenny's also been warned about the typically wet weather conditions at the event.
In an interview with London's Telegraph newspaper, Kenny says, "I have heard all about the mud and have lost count of the number of people who tell me that it will be the wettest place I have ever encountered. But it's such an exciting gathering of music."
Kenny is also hoping to catch the Rolling Stones' Saturday performance at Glastonbury. He admits, "I have never heard them play live."
Kenny will be formally inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this fall in Nashville.
