With the controversy surrounding the explicit video for “Tunnel Vision” dying down, Justin Timberlake is looking ahead to his next release. On Wednesday, he unveiled a brief teaser for a new song off his upcoming follow-up to The 20/20 Experience.
In the 45-second video, Justin steps out of a convertible and flashes cue cards that list his most recent releases: “Suit & Tie” on January 14, “Mirrors” on February 11 and The 20/20 Experience on March 19. He leaves out "Tunnel Vision," which isn't an official radio single off the album.
Justin then reveals another card that reads, “Take Back the Night.” The next card, which presumably displays the release date for the new song, is blurred in the clip.
JT then heads into a club, and we hear about 10 seconds of “Take Back the Night,” a funky dance tune that contains the following lyrics: "Take back the night/C'mon, use me up until there's nothing left/Take back the night/Dizzy, spinnin', sweatin', you can't catch your breath/Take back the night.”
The video ends with a graphic that reads, “The 20/20 Experience Continues....”
We’ll have to wait and see when we’ll be able to listen to “Take Back The Night” in its entirety. We do know that the sequel to The 20/20 Experience will debut on September 30.
