Dierks Bentley Lends New Song, "I Hold On," to GAC's #DearAmerica Campaign

Capitol NashvilleDierks Bentley has leant his brand-new song, "I Hold On," to GAC for the network's #DearAmerica campaign this summer.  The track will appear on Dierks' upcoming album, Riser, and GAC is asking fans to send in their personal photographs that show what they hold on to as Americans. Those pictures could end up in #DearAmerica spots on GAC or online at GACTV.com.  Dierks and the folks at GAC can't wait to see how those photographs enhance the message behind "I Hold On" too.

"This song is probably one of the most personal songs I've ever written or recorded, but at the same time it hits a lot of universal themes that I think we can all relate to," Dierks says of "I Hold On."  "I've really been able to sense that from the fans when I play 'I Hold On' out on the road and am really looking forward to seeing what country fans tuning in at home will share."

Fans can submit photographs through Twitter and Instagram using #DearAmerica or by uploading them through the Great American Country mobile app.

Dierks' album, Riser, is due out this fall.  It also features his latest single, "Bourbon in Kentucky," which features Kacey Musgraves on background vocals.
