Facebook.com/BBC The Voice UKThe Script frontman Danny O’Donoghue has decided to leave the U.K. version of The Voice on a high note. He's departing the show after coaching the winner of the show’s second season this year.

O’Donoghue said in a statement, “I had two wonderful seasons on The Voice and as everybody knows I gave it my heart and soul and couldn't be more proud of the show and what we have achieved. My focus will be on The Script moving forward as we are about to embark on the most important part of our career as a band.”

Another coach, Jessie J, announced her departure from the show earlier this month. O’Donoghue and Jessie J had served as coaches alongside Tom Jones and the Black Eyed Peaswill.i.am.

The Script is currently touring the U.S. with Train.
