Lady Gaga may have been sidelined by a hip injury for most of 2013, but it hasn't stopped her from raking in the cash: she's topped Forbes' list of the Top-Earning Celebrities Under 30, which this year is dominated by female pop stars.
The magazine calculated stars' "entertainment-related income" between June 2012 through June 2013, based on interviews with agents, managers, producers and industry executives, and found that Gaga grossed a whopping $80 million bucks, earning her the top spot on the list. She would have probably raked in much more if she hadn't had to cancel her tour.
Taylor Swift is #3 on the list with earnings of $55 million, not only from her blockbuster album sales and her successful tour, but from her lucrative endorsement deals with Diet Coke, Covergirl and Sony. In at #5 is Rihanna, with earnings of $43 million thanks to album and single sales, touring and her endorsement deal with Vita Coco.
Katy Perry's #6 with $39 million, even though it's been a quiet year for her so far musically. She still raked in the bucks from private gigs, her fragrances and her deal with Popchips, as well as from her movie Part of Me. Adele is #7 with impressive earnings of $25 million, which she took in even without a new album, tour or endorsement deal.
The only male musicians in the top 10 are Justin Bieber at #2, and Calvin Harris at #4. Justin took in $58 million thanks to his touring, and financial stakes in startup companies like Tinychat and Spotify. Calvin, meanwhile, earned $46 million for his DJ residency in Las Vegas, his live performances and his royalties from writing and producing hits like Rihanna's "We Found Love."
