The video for Justin Timberlake's latest single, "Take Back the Night," has premiered, and it's a stripped-down affair that highlights JT's singing and dancing skills -- whether he's performing solo on a street corner, or onstage in a stadium full of fans.
The clip cuts back and forth between Justin singing the song while dancing on a street in New York City's Chinatown -- where he encounters a variety of people and busts a move with all of them -- and performing the song onstage at Yankee Stadium. We also see shots of him cruising around in a vintage car, which we assume he's using to drive from Chinatown, which is in downtown New York, to the stadium, which is way, way uptown.
While Justin spends the most time simply dancing and singing the Michael Jackson-inflected tune alone on the street, at one point, he goes downstairs into a shop, where he greets workers, and then into a club, where he dances with a crowd of people. Those scenes are intercut with footage of him onstage with his full band and light show, singing to thousands of fans.
As previously reported, "Take Back the Night" is the first single from the second volume of Justin's best-selling album The 20/20 Experience, which will be in stores September 27.
