The members of Talking Heads haven't shared a stage since the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. Since then, fans have been waiting patiently for the band to get back together for a reunion tour. Bassist Tina Weymouth says that while she's definitely open to hitting the road with her former band mates, the final decision depends on one member of the group.
"You'll have to ask [frontman] David Byrne about that," she tells Rolling Stone. "I don't see why there shouldn't be a reunion. On the other hand, I'm not going to hold my breath because life goes on. We are in touch with the band and we all would love to do it, but we can't do it without David."
Weymouth is currently out on a European tour with Tom Tom Club -- which also features her husband, founding Talking Heads drummer Chris Frantz -- to promote their first release in 12 years, Downtown Rockers.
