Katy Perry can now put a hairy legal battle behind her. She has resolved a dispute with a British hair care company she once endorsed, according to TMZ.
Earlier this year, the hair care company, ghd, filed a lawsuit against Katy, who had claimed she had a two-million-dollar oral agreement with ghd to extend her contract after the original terms expired.
The company argued that no such agreement had been reached, and it went to court in an attempt to block Katy from suing it for the money she said she was owed. As part of its complaint, ghd claimed its research showed Katy had “significant decrease in appeal across Europe.”
Katy subsequently filed a countersuit against ghd.
While the exact terms of the settlement have not been disclosed, TMZ says Katy received a “significant amount of money” from ghd.
